My vanity hopes you’ve been pining for a send from
me since my last missive a few months back; my own inbox choked with
campaign-mail, however, suggests that may not be the case this summer. Regardless, here I am again with an update on
Northwest happenings. <skip
to calendar>
The Full WW
Band has accepted a one-Sunday-a-month residency at The Triple Door’s fun and funky Musicquarium Lounge in
downtown
After a light summer (you were all outside,
anyway...), The Bushwick Book Club - Seattle
returns with a great and diverse lineup heading into fall. August
24 showcases original music inspired by Lonesome
Dove; September 3 is A Wrinkle in Time at Bumbershoot; and September 28 will invite Big Brother back to 1984. Details
for all below. (Catch up
on past WW contributions here
and here.)
And no late-summer newsletter would be complete
without mention of my annual visit to Washington’s Tri-Cities for the Tumbleweed Music Festival Labor Day Weekend. I’m hard at work crafting the songwriting
contest trophy as I type!
Thank you all for continued support and company!
(And particular thanks to out-of-area-types who have not been blessed
with a visit in some time... You are not
forgotten!)
